Favorite Hobby: playing the piano
My Why: I believe in the transformative power of the Word of God and work of the Holy Spirit to change lives. The world is broken and the only hope for true peace is found in Christ. I want to show young women that they can have a deep personal relationship with Jesus that will change their life forever.

What did you want to be when you grew up: Actuarial Scientist or NBA basketball player
Favorite Hobby: Roadtripping with Friends
My Why: Over the past few years I have worked with youth both in a parachurch ministry and within the church. Through this process, I discovered a passion for 1-on-1 interactions. At first I thought I would pursue this passion through Psychology, but I quickly became frustrated with the lack of substantial solutions and answers offered for the problems and questions raised by highly trained Psychologists. Around this same time, my dad was becoming infatuated with biblical counseling and shared what he was learning with me. It was exactly what I was looking for: developing relationships in a 1-on-1 setting while offering the hope and truth of the Gospel. Biblical counseling truly has been an answer to prayer.

Jonica
Favorite Hobby: Spending time with family. Anywhere they are in my favorite place to be.
My Why: One of my top Gallup strengths is Developer. This served me well as a mother, raising 4 sons. Now that they are grown men, it is important that I invest in others (so I don’t continue to “develop” boys who don’t need my help). :-) I love coming alongside those who are hurting and sharing with them the love and compassion Jesus has for them.

Interesting Fact: I am a very outgoing person who appears to be confident in herself. I am actually pretty insecure and I'm working on being confident in who God made me to be. Did you want a more funny fact??? I have a loud and weird laugh but I'm trying to just embrace it because it comes from a place of JOY!
Hobbies: Making macrame earrings and going to coffee with girlfriends
My Why: I know that the Word of God, prayer, and fellowshipping with other believers has transformed my life in ways I didn't know were possible. As I have found freedom in Christ and now cling to His truth, I desire to walk alongside other women, studying the Word together, praying, asking the hard questions, and overcoming our sin together. Biblical Counseling allows for the Holy Spirit to take its rightful place in transforming the hearts and minds of those seeking help and healing and it is an absolute privilege to be a part of this ministry.
